２１世紀の建築は、生態系に融合するマシンを建築する。

生態系は、エコロジーシステムとエコノミーシステム、つまり、エコシステムで構成される。

マシンを相互接続するものは、交通ネットワーク、物流ネットワーク、電力ネットワーク、通信ネットワークなどのネットワークである。

もちろん、上下水道ネットワーク、ガスネットワークなども含まれる。
